This award is given to students, backed by faculty that demonstrate key skills that will make them a valuable asset in their respected fields. The award is given out by St. Lawrence College School of Business. I was given the award for resiliency because of my power to overcome any obstacle and learn from it, grow and use it to my advantage

Faculty Testimonial: Marki is an absolute role model of female empowerment and an inspiration to the entire class and those around her. She is a courageous activist in the fight to end the stigma around body shaming and is willing to expose her own vulnerabilities to break down barriers for those around her. She speaks up when others remain silent, and she steps up when others would shrink back. Marki is amazing.
